Bill Gottfried was a member of the first U.S. Department of Energy Trade Missions to Moscow; Tyumen, Western Siberia; and Kazakhstan following the collapse of the Soviet Union. He recruited management teams, organized oil and gas joint ventures, and raised investment capital for joint ventures in Western Siberia, Kazakhstan, and Azerbaijan.

We recruited senior executives for several of the first agricultural biotechnology companies that were established in the U.S. and we organized the first U.S.-Kazakhstan agriculture joint venture with support from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in London.

Bill Gottfried served as Chairman of the International Committee for the Houston Association of Realtors, Chairman of the International Committee for the Texas Association of Realtors, he was a founding Board Member of the Asian Real Estate Association of America's Houston Chapter, and he served as the National Association of Realtors Presidential Liaison to the United Arab Emirates.

Bill Gottfried earned a B.S.B.A. from The University of Tulsa, Tulsa, Oklahoma, petroleum marketing major; a M.B.A. in International Business from The George Washington University, Washington, D.C.; and he has attended Executive Ed. at Harvard Business School. Bill was Commissioned a U.S. Naval Officer at Officer Candidate School, Newport, Rhode Island and he graduated from Navy Supply Corps School, Athens, Georgia. He is an Eagle Scout and a member of The Army and Navy Club in Washington, D.C. Bill has been listed in the Financial Times Who's Who in World Oil and Gas.
